They enjoyed a life of adventure and experiences, living in Switzerland and traveling throughout Europe.

Upon returning home, they had an idea… “let’s open a restaurant and brewpub!”

Shortly after and much to their surprise, they found out they were expecting twins.

On Valentine’s Day and four months early, mom and babies were rushed to the hospital. Nothing was easy and the doctors were worried, but with the love, support, and faith of their family and friends, the twins were born on March 22nd and thrived.

It is in celebration of them (our golden pair) that we decided to open The Gilded Pear, a café with a pay it forward attitude.
